Job description

Sun Glass is seeking full-time Window, Door, and Glass installers to support our Sun Glass teams in Montrose Colorado and Pagosa Springs Colorado. We are looking for dependable team players who have at least 3 years of experience as an installer or carpenter in a residential environment.

This is not contract or piece work. These are full-time positions within our organization. Pay negotiable DOE

Responsibilities Include:

  • Accurately measure for windows, doors, reglazes, mirrors, showers.
  • Identify jamb depth, glass types, thicknesses, colors, etc.
  • Repair windows and sliding glass doors.
  • Install various types of windows, doors, shower enclosures and hardware.
  • Identify parts needed to correctly perform the work.
  • Be able to work off a ladder or scaffolding.
  • Load and verify materials needed for daily projects.
  • Maintain product knowledge and learn new products as they become available.
  • Clean all work areas to “better than arrival” company standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Pass a background and drug test.
  • Must be able to accurately measure and identify window, door, glass types, parts, etc.
  • Experience in servicing glass and windows in a residential environment.
  • Shower installation experience a plus.
  • Must have a valid drivers license.
  • Be dependable, on time, have excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
  • Able to work overtime as needed.
  • Ability to problem solve and effectively resolve conflicts.
  • Must be self-motivated and have strong time management skills.
