Housekeeping Attendant
Pay Range
$12.77 - $16.00 per hour
Objective
To maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout all areas of the club by performing daily cleaning, sanitizing, and housekeeping duties that support member satisfaction, retention, and overall club operations.
Reports To
Housekeeping Supervisor or General Manager

Responsibilities
  • Get & Keep Members by ensuring all club spaces are clean, safe, and welcoming
  • Clean and sanitize locker rooms, restrooms, showers, fitness areas, studios, offices, and common spaces
  • Restock supplies including paper products, soap, cleaning materials, and sanitizing stations
  • Perform routine and deep-cleaning tasks according to daily, weekly, and monthly schedules
  • Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and scrubbing
  • Clean mirrors, windows, and glass surfaces throughout the facility
  • Empty trash and recycling receptacles and transport waste to designated areas
  • Follow all company Service Standards, AFF Training Manuals, Policy Manuals, and department-specific guidelines
  • Know and follow emergency response protocols; always prioritize safety
  • Report maintenance issues, equipment malfunctions, or safety hazards to management
  • Maintain cleaning equipment and ensure proper storage of chemicals
  • Arrive on time in proper uniform and maintain a professional appearance
  • Input and manage your weekly work schedule in the club's scheduling platform by established deadlines, maintaining full accountability for schedule accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to club staffing need
  • Participating in required meetings and training
  • Perform other duties as reasonably assigned

Work Environment
This role requires frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and exposure to cleaning chemicals. Some areas may have higher noise levels or humidity (e.g., pool deck, locker rooms).
Physical Demands
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, perform repetitive motions, and work on feet for extended periods.
