Job Title: Commercial Glass Project Manager

Position Overview:
Are you a skilled project manager looking to make a significant impact within the commercial glass and glazing industry? This may be the perfect opportunity for you. As a Commercial Glass Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of key projects from start to finish, ensuring they meet both client expectations and company standards. You will manage multiple projects concurrently, collaborate with various departments, and guide your team to successful project completion within budget and on time, all while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Leadership: Oversee and manage the delivery of multiple complex commercial glass projects, ensuring successful execution within deadlines and budgets.
  • Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with internal teams (engineering, fabrication, and installation) to ensure project goals are met and maintain open lines of communication with clients and stakeholders.
  • Planning and Execution: Develop and manage detailed project plans, risk logs, and submittals, and ensure that all project documentation is well-organized and up to date.
  • Problem Solving and Issue Resolution: Proactively identify potential issues or roadblocks and work with relevant teams to resolve them in a timely manner, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all deliverables meet the companyโ€™s high-quality craftsmanship standards and adhere to project specifications.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Provide excellent customer service, handling client communication and ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in glazing and commercial glass projects.
    • At least 3 years of commercial project management experience in a fast-paced construction environment.
  • Skills:
    • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of organization.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present effectively and interact with clients and team members.
    • Proficiency in project management software and tools, with a solid understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, and reporting.
    • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate challenges effectively.
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds frequently and occasionally up to 80 pounds.
    • Valid driverโ€™s license and clean DMV record with no restrictions.
  • Other:
    • Positive, self-motivated, and results-oriented individual who thrives in a collaborative environment.
    • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
