Machine Operator - 3rd Shift

Location: West Chester, OH
3rd Shift: Sunday - Thursday, 10:30PM - 6:30AM 
Starting Pay: $18/hr

Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated Machine Operator to join our glass manufacturing team. This position involves operating machinery to cut, polish, and temper glass according to customer specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, a solid work ethic, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate glass machinery and equipment to cut, polish, and temper glass
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements to ensure accuracy
  • Assist with loading and unloading glass materials using an overhead crane
  • Use hand and power tools to complete custom and detailed work
  • Perform quality checks to ensure products meet specifications
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE, including steel-toed boots
  • Participate in cross-training across multiple production areas
Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds on a regular basis
  • Basic math and measurement skills; must be able to read a tape measure accurately
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints or technical drawings
  • Experience preferred in one or more of the following:
    • CNC milling or machine operation
    • Construction or metal fabrication
    • Custom design work
    • Overhead crane operation
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Reliable attendance and positive attitude
