CNC Operator

Grand Haven, MI, $17.25 per hour, 2nd Shift | Monday–Friday, 1:50 PM–10:00 PM (Overtime may be required)

Job Summary
Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking for a new opportunity? We're seeking a CNC Operator to join our team in Grand Haven, MI. In this role, you'll play a key part in producing precision glass and mirror products used in industrial and specialty applications. Your craftsmanship and attention to detail will help ensure each product meets the highest quality standards.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a CNC Operator, your core responsibilities will include:
  • Operating CNC and manual machinery: Use precision equipment to cut, edge, and fabricate glass components to exact specifications.
  • Inspecting glass products: Examine materials at each stage of production to ensure quality and identify defects.
  • Measuring and quality checks: Use a tape measure (down to 1/32”) and basic math to ensure accurate cuts and consistent output.
    In addition, you will also be expected to lift and reposition glass materials throughout the shift and communicate any production issues to your supervisor.
What We’re Looking For

To be successful in this role, you should have the following:

Qualifications:
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, work orders, and correspondence
  • Strong math skills for basic measurements and calculations
  • Ability to lift between 50–80 lbs consistently throughout the shift
  • Comfortable inspecting materials and identifying quality concerns
Skills:
  • Mechanical aptitude: Confidently operate CNC and manual production machinery to produce precision glass components.
  • Attention to detail: Identify and address quality issues to maintain production standards.
  • Problem-solving skills: Quickly troubleshoot issues to ensure continuous workflow and quality output.
