Job description

Are you experienced with using machines in a production environment? Are you good with your hands, a problem solver, and take pride in making sure you produce an amazing, finished product? Then we want to talk to you!

 Shifts available: 

  • Continental 6:45am-7pm

Come grow your career in our state-of-the-art manufacturing plant. We manufacture coated and tempered residential glass, and we need glass specialists and machine operators to keep the quality top-notch. As a glass processing specialist, you will be responsible for the offloading or loading of glass onto our production line. You will have the opportunity to cross-train and grow your skillset which will be properly compensated. In this role, you will work as a team to keep us running so we can meet our daily, weekly, and monthly manufacturing goals. Some responsibilities include:

  • Place glass on bungees, secure glass on racks, Pack A-frames and prepare racks for shipping
  • Keep up the cleanliness at the line, sweeping and clearing glass as necessary
  • Help other departments as needed - we work as a team therefore you are expected to assist in other areas when necessary
  • Perform tempering break test for quality assurance 
  • Clean up broken glass - done throughout shift to maintain a safe work environment
  • Clean out space under the furnace - performed every 3 months
  • Ensure safety measures are taking place at all times
  • Keep a high rate of productivity

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, organized and positive warehouse environment.
  • Ability to frequently lift glass that may weigh up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work full-time, 40 hours per week plus optional overtime.
  • Attention to detail and good time management skills.
