Job description

We’re looking for an Associate General Counsel to join our ever-evolving Corporate Legal team and support our Education Solutions businesses as they continue to grow and innovate.

What you’ll own

Serve as the lead legal advisor to our Education Solutions businesses, partnering with executive leaders to support strategic priorities and drive business growth.

Advise on complex commercial, regulatory, governance, and operational legal matters, delivering practical, risk-based guidance aligned to business objectives.

Lead legal support for corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, strategic investments, and other growth initiatives.

Identify and mitigate legal risk while collaborating across finance, compliance, product, and business teams to develop solutions that enable innovation and operational excellence.

Build strong relationships across the organization, providing trusted counsel and helping navigate evolving legal and business challenges.

What you’ll bring

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and admission to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.

10+ years of legal experience, including significant experience supporting technology, software, SaaS, or education-focused businesses.

Strong background in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, commercial transactions, and strategic business counseling.

Demonstrated ability to assess legal risk, provide practical business-focused advice, and influence decision-making at senior leadership levels.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

It’s a bonus if you have

Experience supporting education technology, software, SaaS, or other highly regulated technology-driven businesses.

Experience leading or supporting domestic and international acquisitions, integrations, and strategic business initiatives.

A proactive, ownership-driven mindset with a track record of building trusted partnerships and solving complex legal and business challenges.
