Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer I to join a collaborative engineering team supporting mission-critical software development in a secure environment. This role involves designing, developing, integrating, testing, and maintaining enterprise software applications while contributing to every phase of the software development lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in Java and .NET development, experience working across Linux and Windows environments, and a passion for building reliable, scalable software solutions using modern development tools and containerization technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze user requirements to develop software design and performance specifications.
  • Design, develop, and enhance new and existing software applications.
  • Debug software, identify defects, and implement effective solutions.
  • Integrate software into new or existing operating environments.
  • Develop and maintain data queries for databases and data repositories.
  • Design and implement complex database interfaces and repository queries.
  • Write, review, and maintain software and system documentation.
  • Recommend improvements to software development processes, standards, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with software engineers and technical teams throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Provide technical leadership appropriate to the software development process and project requirements.
Required QualificationsEducation
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
  • Additional applicable software engineering experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.

  • Minimum of 7 years of software engineering experience supporting programs of similar scope, complexity, and technical requirements.
