Role Overview:
This role is for a highly experienced DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in GitHub Enterprise administration, GitHub Actions, and Kubernetes cluster management. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing builds, deployments, and automation across various programming languages, ensuring robust CI/CD pipelines and secure development practices.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage builds and deployments for applications developed in Java, NodeJS, Python, .Net, and Go.
  • Administer GitHub Actions and GitHub Enterprise, including the management of self-hosted runners and GitHub Apps.
  • Implement and maintain enterprise-standard GitHub workflows and reusable workflows.
  • Develop strong programming skills in Python or Java for automation tasks.
  • Utilize GitHub Advance Security Tooling (GHAS) to enhance security.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Source Control Management (SCM) with Git & GitHub workflows, and the principles of DevOps & DevSecOps.
  • Manage and maintain GitHub Actions, including autoscaling, secure execution environments, and workflow orchestration.
  • Proficiently manage Kubernetes clusters using tools such as kubectl, Rancher, and Helm.
  • Administer, maintain, and monitor Kubernetes clusters and their underlying hardware infrastructure.
  • Design and manage Kubernetes cluster layouts, resources, and storage.
  • Monitor and optimize Kubernetes resources, including pods, nodes, and namespaces.
