Job Summary:
Damco Solutions is seeking a Senior Architect with deep experience in GitHub and DevOps to lead the design and implementation of their development operations. The role focuses on building and scaling a modern, secure, and efficient software delivery ecosystem that empowers engineering teams to deliver with speed, quality, and confidence.
Responsibilities:
• Lead Development Operations Architecture
• Define the overall GitHub strategy, including repository structure, branching models, and governance.
• Establish scalable CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and other DevOps tools.
• Integrate testing, security, and compliance into every stage of the software lifecycle.
• Enable Engineering Productivity
• Introduce best practices for code reviews, automation, and collaboration.
• Partner with engineering and operations to drive developer efficiency and reliability.
• Lead training and documentation to ensure adoption across teams.
• Advance DevOps & Cloud Practices
• Implement infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Build automated monitoring, alerting, and observability into systems.
• Ensure secure handling of secrets, access, and compliance requirements.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, or systems architecture, including leadership roles.

• Strong background in DevOps principles: CI/CD, automated testing, infrastructure as code, and observability.
