As a member of the team, the intern will have the opportunity to leverage the latest GIS technologies and work alongside experts in the fields of demographic forecasting, transportation modeling, active transportation, planning, land use, environmental, and public safety. You will enhance your technical knowledge in your chosen field and refine your abilities to collaborate, contribute to high-performing teams, and communicate - skills that are the essence of a successful professional. Job Responsibilities Assist with researching, editing, compiling, and analyzing geographic information Assist with developing and maintaining spatial databases, products and services. Assist with the creation of production quality maps and web mapping applications.

Assist with geocoding, geo-referencing, digitizing, or other data collection methods. Contribute to the preparation of tables, charts, reports, and presentations. Typical Qualifications Coursework in geography, environmental studies, computer science, planning or a related field Experience with Esri ArcGIS software, SQL databases, and Python are desirable Ability to work in teams and communicate effectively across various audiences.

Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask. Ability to complete assignments that involve researching, analyzing, and synthesizing geographic information into written summaries, reports, or recommendations. Salary Range: Full Pay Range is $16.49 - $23.92/hour Pursuing Undergraduate Degree: $20.00/hour Bachelor's degree or higher: $23.00/hour
