Supports project teams by coordinating data needs, timelines, and basic deliverables. Collects and validates spatial and tabular data from field tools, GPS, imagery, CAD, and public datasets and applies established QA and QC procedures. Demonstrates solid knowledge of GIS concepts, projections, attribute management, and Alaska geospatial resources, with practical experience using field data collection tools. Produces clear cartographic products and simple dashboards using established symbology and layout standards. Performs basic spatial analysis such as overlays and proximity and summarizes results clearly. Supports basic field and web applications, assists with web maps and layers, and uses scripting to assist with geoprocessing tasks. Prepares straightforward documentation for technical and non-technical audiences, participates in field work following safety practices, and stays aware of current GIS tools and methods.
