Salary Range: $65,000.00 To $82,000.00 Annually

Weston & Sampson is seeking a geologist/hydrogeologist with 2 - 5+ years of experience to join the Water Discipline in our Rocky Hill, CT office.

What you’ll do:

• Hydrogeologic/geologic investigations
• Pumping test supervision
• Water-quality sampling
• Streamflow gaging
• Monitoring and production well drilling oversight
• Soil sampling and logging during well installation
• Data compilation and interpretation
• Permit and report writing

What you will bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in geology, hydrogeology or water resources related field (M.S. preferred)
• 2 to 5+ years of experience
• A positive attitude and ability to work in a team setting
• Enthusiasm for completing field work at a variety of site settings
• Proficiency in preparing GIS figures, GIS data evaluation, data entry and management using Microsoft Suite
• Experience with Grapher, Surfer and Aqtesolv programs a plus
• Strong GIS skills are a must
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Some travel will be required to conduct field work
• Valid driver’s license is required
• Ability to independently complete field tasks with limited instruction

Salary Range $65,000 - $82,000 Based On Education
