Job Summary:
Veracity Software Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Senior GIS Technician to support the development and maintenance of enterprise Geographic Information Systems (GIS) data and applications. The role involves performing various GIS tasks including data compilation, editing, analysis, and quality assurance, while utilizing advanced GIS technical skills and tools.
Responsibilities:
• performing spatial and attribute data compilation, editing, maintenance, geoprocessing, analysis, and quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) activities
• support GIS database development, mapping initiatives, geospatial analysis projects, and data management activities utilizing ESRI ArcGIS, CAD technologies, and related geospatial tools.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 5+ years of GIS experience supporting enterprise GIS environments.
• Experience performing GIS spatial and attribute data compilation.
• Experience editing, maintaining, and validating GIS datasets.
• Experience performing geoprocessing and spatial analysis activities.
• Experience conducting GIS quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC).
• Experience working with ESRI ArcGIS products.
• Experience supporting geodatabase maintenance and management.
• Experience working with CAD systems such as MicroStation.
• Experience supporting GIS mapping and cartographic production activities.
• Experience organizing, classifying, documenting, and maintaining GIS data.
Preferred:
• Government or Public Sector GIS experience.
• Experience supporting ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise environments.
• Experience with MicroStation CAD software.
• Experience supporting infrastructure, utilities, transportation, or engineering projects.
• Experience with GIS metadata management.
• Experience with aerial imagery and raster datasets.
