ICMS is looking for an experienced GIS/CAD Specialist. This individual is responsible for ensuring the AutoCAD and GIS files are kept updated.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the existing AutoCAD and GIS database through input of information related to any changes, modifications, or corrections to provided information on above ground and subsurface utilities, building modifications, and new building information.
Requirements:

ยท Four-year Bachelor's Degree is desired in engineering or related field or equivalent combination of technical training and/or experience.

ยท Minimum of 4 yearsโ€™ experience with Auto CAD and ESRI GIS platforms.

ยท Experience maintaining or updating GIS databases and CAD drawings

ยท Strong understanding of map scales, coordinate systems, and spatial data accuracy

ยท Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.


Additional Qualifying Factors:

ยท As a condition of employment, it will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results.


Security Clearance:

It is mandatory that all Contractor personnel working onsite at federal facilities meet federal government security clearance standards. Minimum investigation at a Public Trust level required.

Location: Laurel, MD (may need to visit Washington DC location and Fort Meade, MD)

Salary: $85,000 โ€“ $105,000/year


*This is a contingent hire position based upon the award of contract.
