The Town of Johnstown, Colorado is actively recruiting a GIS Specialist to be part of our dynamic and passionate team. The GIS Specialist position works under the general supervision of the Senior GIS Analyst to support the development and maintenance of information systems, including but not limited to GIS and asset management databases for Town-related data. The GIS Specialist is responsible for data maintenance, research, map creation, web and mobile application development, and geodatabase support using GIS software. The incumbent ensures accurate, accessible, and actionable spatial information for internal stakeholders and the public.

The ideal candidate has one to three years of practical and relevant experience with asset management systems, geodatabases, ArcGIS, GPS surveying, database development and design and a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in GIS, Geography, Planning, Civil Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field.

THIS POSITION IS FULL-TIME, ON SITE.

Expected hiring range: $61,578 - $73,893, depending upon experience.
