What You Will Contribute to OHM Advisors

As a GIS Specialist, you will support impactful projects across engineering, planning, architecture, and water resources. You will work closely with a collaborative GIS team to support field data collection, GIS database development, and mapping efforts that help advance communities and improve infrastructure. This role offers hands‑on experience, mentorship, and exposure toemerginggeospatial technologies.

YourResponsibilities
  • Assistwith developing andmaintainingGIS databases for utility management and other infrastructure projects using ArcGIS Pro.
  • Assistin the design and development of GIS database schemas.
  • Design and launch public facing Esri ArcGIS Experience Builder apps and ArcGISStoryMaps.
  • Utilize ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online to support a variety of project needs.
  • Participate in project meetings and professional development opportunities.
  • Represent the firm professionally when interacting with internal teams, clients, and the public.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Geographic Information Systems,Planningor related field, with afocus on GIS preferred.
  • Strong experience with Esri ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online.
  • Proven work building and launching ArcGIS Experience Builder apps and ArcGISStoryMaps.
  • Strong understanding of urban planning principles, zoning, and community development.
  • Experience creating map products with an understanding of basic cartographic principles.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
  • Attention to detail, problem‑solving abilities, andeagernessto learn.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
  • Ability to work onsite at one of our OHM locations in OH orPA. Local candidatesarepreferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • One or more years of GIS experience.
  • Exposure toPython and/or Arcade scripting.
