VACANCY: Varsityย Girls Volleyball Coachย 

SCHOOL:ย ย Tri County High School

POSITION SUMMARY:ย The Varsity Girls Volleyball Coach will be responsible for leading, developing, and managing all aspects of the girls volleyball program. This position will promote a positive team culture, develop student athlete skills, maintain high standards of sportsmanship, and adhere to district policies.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:ย 

  • Prior coaching experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Volleyball rules, techniques and strategies
  • Knowledge of program building skills
  • Ability to motivate and mentor student athletes
  • Knowledge of MHSAA policies preferred
  • CPR/AED certification

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Coach individual participants in the fundamental skills necessary for excellent achievement in Volleyball
  • Encourage participation and development of younger players within the program
  • Develop community relationships that are positive for TC Athletics
  • Promote good sportsmanship, teamwork, and respect
  • Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and school staff
  • Work within the basic framework and philosophy of the school district
  • Collaborate with assistant coaches, athletic trainer, and school administration
  • Help with fundraising projects
  • Accountable for all team equipment, supplies, and inventory
