Gift Shop Clerk
POSITION PURPOSE:
Obtain and receive merchandise; total bill; accept payment; and make change for customers in retail store.
EDUCATION:
High School diploma or equivalent.
LICENSES:
Health Card
Alcohol Card
Non-Gaming Card
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  1. Stock shelves, counters and/or tables with merchandise.
  2. Stamps, marks or tags price on merchandise.
  3. Obtains merchandise requested by customer or receives merchandise selected by customer.
  4. Ansers customers questions concerning location, price and use of merchandise.
  5. Totals price and tax on merchandise purchased by customer to determine bill.
  6. Accepts payment and makes change.
  7. Wraps or bags merchandise for customers.
  8. Clean shelves, counters or tables.
  9. Removes and records sales at the end of shift.
  10. Assists Gift Shop Supervisor with inventory and stocking of Gift Shop and store rooms.

OTHER:
Regular attendance in conformance with the standards which may be established by Binions is essential to the successful performance of this position. Team Members with irregular attendance will be subject to Binions disciplinary action procedures.
Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality/entertainment industry, Team Members may be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs of the property.
Upon employment, all Team Members are required to comply with Binions policies and procedures for the safe and efficient operation of company facilities. Team Members who violate company policies and procedures are subject to disciplinary action.
