Joe R. & Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine at UT Health San Antonio


The Division of Gastroenterology in the Department of Medicine, Joe R. and Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine at UT Health San Antonio seeks a full time academic Gastroenterology (GI) Clinician/Educator at the Assistant Professor rank to enhance our missions in both patient care and teaching.  The successful candidate will provide and contribute to the delivery of inpatient GI consultation and inpatient endoscopy services performed at University Hospital. The candidate will also participate in outpatient GI consultation and endoscopy services delivered both at the Robert B. Green Campus of University Health System, our main hospital system partner, and at the Medical Arts & Research Center, the home of the UT Health Physicians academic clinical practice. This position provides the opportunity for teaching Gastroenterology Fellows in a diversity of clinical settings, as well as mentoring them in clinical research and scholarly pursuits.


Applicants for this position must possess a Texas Medical Board licensure or have an application in process and a Board certification or in the process of obtaining Board certification.
