Overview:

There are three Cath Labs at UF Health’s Leesburg Hospital and 1 Electrophysiology Lab.  We are searching for someone who is passionate about elevating their clinical skillset and value their professional experience they will acquire while working. At Leesburg Hospital, there are a lot of complex interventional cases and structural heart cases. The Providers are excited about the field and love to share their knowledge with their staff.  This is a close-knit Cath Lab where collaboration and teamwork is celebrated with state-of-art Cath Lab technology and medical devices. 

There are 3 Cath Labs at UF Health’s Leesburg Hospital and 1 Electrophysiology Lab.  The Director is a servant-leader at UF Health Leesburg Hospital and he is dedicated to the success of his team and the people of his community.  This is a close-knit Cath Lab where collaboration and teamwork is celebrated. The benefit about working here is that you will truly learn and acquire valuable experience, as there are a lot of complex interventional cases and structural heart cases. The Providers are excited about the field and love to share their knowledge with their staff.  Our Cath Labs offer state-of-art technology and medical devices.

Responsibilities:

Under the direction of the director/charge person, the RN utilizes the nursing process, facilitates patient care making nursing assessments and diagnosis, formulates care plans based on the diagnosis and implements and evaluates the plan of care specific to Cardiac Catherization Lab patients. Responsible for environment of care according to Joint Commission Standards. Responsible for the nursing care of the pre and post Cardiac Catherization Lab patient. This is a full time, day shift position eligible for a sign on bonus. 

7am-7pm
