Exciting opportunity to join our hotel as a maintenance engineer.

The Hotel Maintenance Engineer is responsible for the upkeep and repair of a hotel's physical plant, including its equipment,systems, and grounds. They ensure a safe and comfortable environment for guests and staff by performing preventative maintenance, responding to maintenance requests, and addressing emergencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs onvarious systems like HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical.
  • Implementing and managing a preventative maintenance program to minimize equipment downtime and extend the lifespan of hotel assets.
  • Responding promptly and effectively to emergency situations such as power outages, plumbing leaks, and equipment failures.
  • Addressing and resolving guest maintenance requestsefficiently and courteously.
  • Ensuring all maintenance activities adhere to safety regulations and protocols.
  • Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities,including repairs, inspections, and replacements.
  • Working with other departments, such as housekeeping andsecurity, to ensure smooth hotel operations.
  • Diagnosing and repairing malfunctions in various hotel equipment and systems.
  • Assisting with the planning and execution of maintenance projects, including renovations and installations.

Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, as well as HVAC and refrigeration.

Problem-Solving: Abilityto troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues effectively.

Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests and staff.

PhysicalStamina: Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting andcarrying equipment.

SafetyAwareness: Thorough understanding of safety regulations andprocedures.

Attention to Detail: Ability to pay close attention to detail when performing inspections and repairs.
