San Luis Preschool - (Grant Funded Position)
Qualifications: A Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education, or related field, is required. Valid Arizona teacher certification is required. Previous teaching experience is preferred. IVP (Identity Verified Print) Fingerprint Clearance Card.
Major Responsibilities:
In accordance with the law and district policy, the Teacher is responsible for working under the direction of the Principal to:
* Implement the GESD curriculum
* Effectively utilize the GESD instructional management system to monitor and improve the effectiveness of instruction.
* Provide effective instruction for all students in his/her classroom.
* Participate in grade level, school-wide, and other meetings.
* Provide a learning atmosphere and environment conductive to the intellectual, physical, social, and emotional development of all students.
* Communicate with students, parents, staff, and community members.
* Develop, select, and modify instructional plans and materials to meet the needs of all students.
* Monitors appropriate use and care of equipment, materials, and facilities.
