BOWE US is rapidly expanding in North America and we need your technical expertise!

BOWE US, a wholly owned subsidiary of the BOWE Group, is a leading supplier of production mail and parcel automation equipment and is one of the world’s leading solution providers for modern print and mail production centers. BOWE Group is a global company headquartered in Augsburg, Germany just outside of Munich. The US subsidiary is responsible for the sales and service of all equipment within the North American market. Our service technicians are assigned to work at various customer site locations, assisting with machine service and preventive maintenance. We are looking for candidates that are highly motivated, extremely mechanical and self-starters for several locations throughout North America.

Position Overview:

As a Bowe technician, you will utilize your technical skills and knowledge to perform preventative maintenance, quickly diagnose problems and perform the necessary repairs. When a machine is out of service, the focus is to return the system back to production all while adhering to the Company’s procedures for proper repair, safety and escalations. This is customer-facing role so providing a positive experience for our customers is critical.

Necessary Skills for Success:

  • Strong customer relations skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read schematics
  • Proficiency in windows operating systems
  • The ability to utilize your knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems to troubleshoot machine problems. System repairs are roughly 80% mechanical and 20% electrical with a software component overlay
  • Ability to maintain focus under pressure while retaining a positive attitude
  • An advanced degree in electronics or mechanics is preferred, but more emphasis will be placed on relevant experience
