What is the Germany government?

The Germany government, officially known as the Federal Government of Germany (Bundesregierung), is the executive branch responsible for governing the country. It operates as a federal parliamentary republic, meaning power is shared between the national government and 16 federal states (Länder). The government is headed by the Federal Chancellor, who sets policy direction and leads the cabinet of ministers. The President is the ceremonial head of state, while the Bundestag (parliament) and Bundesrat (federal council) make up the legislative branches. The government ensures the implementation of laws, manages foreign affairs, and oversees national administration.

  • Communicate and collaborate with Planet's executive, government affairs, business development, and sales teams to develop approaches to capture new opportunities in the national security ecosystem
  • Act as a strategic advisor and execution partner to sales and customer success teams
  • Success in this role will result in (and be measured against) increased trust and credibility with key U.S. national security stakeholders, early identification of political and programmatic risk before it impacts Planet's business, and maintaining, shaping, and growing key U.S. government programs that leverage Planet capabilities
