What You’ll Be Doing 
 
Get on the road as a Sales Representative – Laboratory Automation where you will be hands-on selling cutting-edge lab automation to a variety of customers. 

  • You are hands-on with strong people skills while promoting and selling SARSTEDT laboratory automation equipment onsite with our valued customers in the West Coast territory 
  • Providing lab workflow and design solutions to customers utilizing SARSTEDT laboratory automation. 
  • You’re thriving in creating and presenting PowerPoint slides to key stakeholders
  • Timely creation of quotations for new and existing customers
  • You’re nurturing existing customer relationships to ensure satisfaction with their equipment and explore future opportunities for additional sales
  • Able to build strong customer relationships to maintain a high retention date through new sales and service contracts. 
  • Staying organized is your superpower; you manage administrative tasks and customer assignments with ease
  • You thrive on the move, coordinating travel and prioritizing customer visits based on opportunities
  • You communicate effectively, tailoring your approach to customers, teammates, and leadership
  • Safety is always top of mind; you follow all procedures and ensure compliance at all times

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field (or equivalent experience) 
  • Hands-on experience in capital equipment sales or experience with mechanical/technical equipment preferred
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to stay organized, manage time effectively, and work with minimal supervision 
  • Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, and service reporting systems)  
  • Located in AZ, UT, NV, CA or surrounding states

Requirements

  • Overnight travel is required (up to 75%+, including air travel); 
  • Occasional international travel might be required for sales meetings or training
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a motor vehicle 
  • Ability to lift and move equipment up to 100 lbs. (occasionally) 
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work in various environments for extended periods 
  • Ability to work safely around electrical systems and mechanical equipment
