Manage a department of five groups, two Assistant Managers. Total of eleven employees, responsible for
- Regional Sourcing Office, Export and Cost Competitive sourcing
- Service Parts and Accessories Purchasing
- Purchasing systems, reporting and training
- Material cost and performance tracking, product cost optimization process, planning round development
- Capacity Management, bottle neck steering for group affiliated components
Represent Purchasing in Production Board Meeting, Investment Committee and other investment and program related meetings locally and in the GroupRepresent Purchasing in Product Cost Optimization meetings and coordinate purchasing activitiesStrategic planning to ensure demand and production programs can be metDevelop continuous improvement ideas to optimize purchasing processes and systemsManage service parts and accessories purchasing process and implementation of service parts strategiesManage the material cost and performance reporting process for purchasing to ensure target achievement
