Job description

Laborer

Pay rate: $21.00 -$25.00

Geotemps, Inc is currently recruiting a General Laborer in the Kingman, AZ area. This individual must have a commitment to teamwork, along with safety, and following policy and protocol.
This individual will be responsible for helping with general labor duties, including shoveling, cleaning, and general maintenance. The employee will be working 10 hours per day, and the project is scheduled to last for six to eight weeks, located in Kingman, AZ.
Requirements:
  • MUST have current Surface MSHA
  • Steel Toed Boots and Work Gloves Required; other PPE provided by Client.
  • Must be able to lift and carry repetitively up to 50-lbs through a 10- hour shift.
  • The employee may be exposed to hazards inherent to surface mining and drilling operations.
  • Physically capable of sitting or standing, shoveling and performing other types of physical work for long periods of time.
  • The employee regularly performs repetitive work involving use of hands and arms.
  • The employee is regularly required to stand, bend and twist, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, talk or hear, and reach above the shoulder with hands and arms.
  • The employee is occasionally required to climb, balance, kneel, crouch, crawl, walk and sit.
  • The employee is frequently required to walk on uneven or slippery surfaces.
  • The employee is required to wear and use the proper safety equipment, including steel toed boots, work gloves, vest, hard hat, and eye protection.
  • Must be able to do extensive labor work all day, in all weather conditions.
  • Must be able to work with minimal direction and / or able to work in a group setting
  • Must be able to take direction and work well with others.
  • Must also be able to work safely and responsibly.
