Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
In this hands-on position, you will be responsible for on-site project supervision including management of field labor, equipment, materials, safety, and production.
Duties include:
โ€ข Studying plans to ensure production meets construction specifications
โ€ข Developing skilled craft workers and laborers.
โ€ข Overseeing all onsite crew and daily tracking
โ€ข Analyzing production targets and coordinate with operations to ensure production goals are met
โ€ข Procurement of tools and materials.
โ€ข Conferring with all levels of staff from laborers to engineering personnel to resolve issues and improve construction methods.
โ€ข Preparing detailed progress reports and inspecting work.
โ€ข Full time travel is required.
Safety and Quality Assurance
โ€ข Ensures all employees are in compliance with all AFS and OSHA safety requirements.
โ€ข In the event of a safety incident, works in partnership with our Safety Dept. to support employees per AFS policy.
โ€ข Logs all quality nonconformance issues and works with management for resolution.
โ€ข Conducts daily safety meetings with crews and discusses job hazard analysis.
โ€ข Collects and reviews equipment inspection sheets.
Required Qualifications:
Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 5 years of progressive experience working as a Driller. Strong leadership and communication skills are required.
โ€ข Active Driver's license
โ€ข Experience with various heavy construction equipment.
โ€ข Geotechnical experience a plus.
โ€ข 30 Hour OSHA, First Aid/CPR certified and Rigging, Signaling.
โ€ข Computer skills using MS word, excel, and outlook preferred.
โ€ข Interpersonal, oral and written communication skills needed.
Compensation:Competitive wage commensurate with experience. Excellent benefit package including company paid health, dental and vision insurance with a company-funded retirement plan.
Salary Range: Superintendent I $102,000 - $120,000
Superintendent II $120,000 - $144,000
Superintendent III $144,000 - $168,000
Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as related work experience, market conditions, education/training, certifications and other credentials, overtime when applicable, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.
