Geotechnical Engineer- Up to $100K/annually DOE!

Integrity Trade Services is hiring a Geotechnical Engineer for our manufacturing client to start immediately up to $100K/annually DOE! Receive comprehensive benefits through our client upon hire!
Responsibilities:
The Geotechnical Engineer will contribute to a wide range of projects, including commercial and industrial developments, transportation infrastructure, bridges, airports, public works, and environmental redevelopment.

The position includes leadership responsibilities within the geotechnical group, along with coordination of construction inspection and testing activities. The selected candidate will work closely with internal teams and serve as a key point of contact for clients, contractors, and project stakeholders.

  • Manage geotechnical projects from proposal through completion, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget expectations are met
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and project partners
  • Provide technical oversight, mentorship, and training to engineering and field staff
  • Support staff coordination across office and field operations
  • Prepare and review proposals, technical reports, and engineering documentation
  • Assist in developing internal standards, specifications, and procedures
  • Oversee subsurface investigations, including drilling, infiltration testing, and monitoring well installation
  • Supervise construction activities such as earthwork, excavation, dewatering, foundation systems, and load testing
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors on active project sites
  • Perform geotechnical analyses related to foundations, retaining structures, pavements, and other infrastructure systems
  • Interpret subsurface conditions, including geologic and hydrogeologic data
  • Review and evaluate laboratory testing results
  • Maintain accurate and organized project documentation and data
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strong client communication
  • Participate in project meetings, training initiatives, and team collaboration efforts
  • Travel occasionally to regional project sites (typically less than 5%)
  • Work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Location: Greenfield, IN
Schedule/Shift Details: 8am-5pm, Mon-Fri

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a focus in Geotechnical Engineering
  • Relevant experience in geotechnical engineering
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with AASHTO and ASTM standards
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD, soil logging software, or similar engineering tools
  • Team-oriented mindset with strong collaboration skills

Work Environment & Requirements:

This role is primarily office-based with periodic field visits. Fieldwork may involve lifting up to 50 pounds and working in outdoor environments. A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required, along with the ability to operate company vehicles. Candidates must be able to pass pre-employment screening, including a physical, background check, and driving record review.
