Branch Manager - Construction Services & Geotechnical Engineering - Nashville, Tennessee

What are we looking for?

The Branch Manager will be providing oversight of a project and testing team with leadership responsibilities for both the construction services and geotechnical teams.

What you'll do:

  • Responsible for operational management of the branch office including construction materials testing/inspection, concrete, soils, and related lab and field testing, as well as geotechnical related lab and field testing
  • Business development activities including scope of work development, estimating and proposal preparation
  • Development of construction quality control programs and implementation
  • Profit and Loss responsibilities
  • AR responsibility
  • Recruitment, development and mentoring of professional, technical, & administrative personnel

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering from accredited engineering / ABET school required
  • 5+ years' of leadership, management, and/or project management experience is required
  • P.E. Registration is required, OR the ability to obtain within six months
  • Must be customer focused and quality driven
  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively in verbal & written communication
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable driving record required

Preferred Requirements & Qualifications:

  • ICC, NICET and/or ACI Certifications are a plus
  • P&L, and basic accounting experience is preferred
  • Sales, marketing, and client management experience preferred
  • Prior personnel management, hiring and training experience preferred
