The Business Systems Analyst at L3HarrisForceXserves as an Agile Product Owner and as liaison between stakeholders and the development team.The BSAis responsible forsetting the vision for theproduct, andfor prioritizing and accepting the work generated by the team to ensure the vision is met. The BSAis responsible forcommunicating stakeholder requirements and feature requests to the software development team. The BSA Will work closely with Systems Engineers, SolutionArchitectsand software engineering teams to break stakeholder requirements into product backlog items, as part of the Agile software development lifecycle. The BSA partnersdirectllywith Program Managers to effectively track software delivery, as well as other deliverables, and ensures the scope and schedule are met by creating andmaintaininga Release Plan.

ForceXBSAs willinterface directly withstakeholders and vendors. BSAs have an operational, high-level knowledge of the software product and how itinterfaces withthesystem, andcan support technical stakeholder meetings, integration events, and ground/flight test events. The BSA Will troubleshoot issues, as well as work with Systems Engineering to integrate new hardware and support functionality of existing hardware.

The Business Systems Analyst, Senior Specialist Level is an intermediate professional with experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner, or experience in a related industry. The Specialist BSA will support a program or product team in the Agile development lifecycle by developing a backlog of work items, and ensuring the completed product meets stakeholder expectations. The Senior Specialist BSA develops the product vision and communicates it to the team, as well as tracks the progress of the development team to ensure customer deliverables are met on time. The Senior Specialist BSA interfaces directly with stakeholders, and may travel to support technical, program, and field or test events.

Essential Functions:
  • Develop product vision, roadmap, and backlog priorities; translate customer requirements into epics and user stories.
  • Coordinate directly with customers, systems engineering, architecture, and software teams to drive feature delivery and defect resolution.
  • Support integration and test events, including up to 10% travel, andmaintaineligibility to obtain and hold a Secret clearance.
  • Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning inputs, story acceptance, and demo/review preparation.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technology or business field with 4+ years relevant experience, or 8+ years equivalent experience in analyst/engineering/DoD integration environments.
  • 4+ years relevant experience with Agile/Scrum development and strong ability to manage release commitments and stakeholder communication.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance and effectively support customer-facing technical/program activities.
Preferred Additional Skills:

Knowledge of systems engineering, integration/test workflows, and release governance.

Familiarity with tactical data links, DoD voice/data radios, and EO/IR sensor integration contexts.
