Canary Systems is an electronic hardware and software engineering firm specializing in civil engineering related monitoring and instrumentation applications. Projects include the monitoring of mines (surface and underground), earth and concrete dams, bridges, tunnels and buildings. We operate in several markets including construction, mining, geotechnical, industrial and public infrastructure.


We are looking for a person with anelectronicsand instrumentationbackground tostaff our Tucson office and support the implementationand supportof our systems at various projects,particularly in the Arizonaand New Mexicoarea.Travel, with singleclientvisits up to aweek long,will berequired.


Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage project installations
  • Manage sub-contractors
  • Provide installation services
  • Provide training and other services
  • Provide troubleshooting and repair services
  • Coordinate support or provide support as needed
  • Prepare project documentation


ExpertiseDesired:

  • Geotechnical instrumentationand technologies,including piezometers, extensometers, GPS, total stations, etc.
  • Electronic monitoring systems, including chargingand dataloggingsystems
