Searching for a dynamic individual to join Monsen Engineering as a Sales Support Engineer. Position will promote Trimble Geospatial with an emphasis on customer satisfaction. This role combines knowledge of surveying technology applications and develop sales skills. The products to be supported include field solutions using robotic total stations, 3D laser scanning solutions, GPS and related applications.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support of outside sales team
  • Prepare new product for delivery including software application
  • Maintain and prepare rental equipment for Geospatial and Building Point
  • This team member has a positive attitude and will train and perform high quality support for clients
  • Conduct product training and product demonstrations including Trimble Business Center, Trimble Access, etc.
  • Provide technical and customer support
  • Additional Focus post sales activity to ensure the customer is successful.
  • Direct sales duties include phone in and walk in customers. Working with the sales team to develop leads; attending industry trade shows; calling and visiting customers within the territory as needed and providing high levels of customer service.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Surveying or Sales Experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.
  • Strategic consultative troubleshooting skills.
  • Product use experience.
  • Knowledge surveying and geospatial processes, procedures, and workflows is highly preferred.
