Job description

This position serves as the first level manager of professional information technology positions within the Center for Shared Solutions - Geospatial, Web, and Data Services Division in Michigan's Department of Technology, Management and Budget. The manager will lead and manage the application development team responsible for geospatial application development, maintenance of existing software applications, and management of the address cleansing and geocoding service team. Responsibilities include resource assignments, planning, guidance, training opportunities, and ensuring quality customer service across state agencies.

  • Bachelor's degree with at least 21 semester credits in computer science, data processing, computer information systems, data communications, networking, systems analysis, computer programming, informa
  • Three years of professional experience as Information Technology Infrastructure, Programmer/Analyst or IT Project Coordinator P11, or one year equivalent to IT Project Coordinator 12
  • Three years of experience as a computer programming supervisor or Information Technology Supervisor may be substituted for education and experience
