Apogee's is seeking a Geospatial Developer to work within our dynamic team. As a Geospatial Developer, you can resolve a problem with a complete integrated solution in a fast, agile environment. We're looking for a seasoned developer like you with the expertise needed to build software and systems from vision to production-ready. Required

  • Develop custom web applications using ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript
  • Integrate third-party APIs and libraries with ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript
  • Build responsive user interfaces for geospatial applications
  • Design dashboards using ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript and ArcGIS Portal Dashboards
  • Configure and customize ArcGIS Portal applications and web maps
  • Create and maintain Story Maps and other Portal applications
  • 3+ years of combined experience in any of the following: Developing web applications using JavaScript/Typescript and a related framework (Angular, React, or Vue) including building HTML and CSS
  • DoD 8570 Compliant Security+ or CISSP Certification prior to starting on contract


Additional Qualifications

  • Install, configure, and maintain ArcGIS Enterprise environments
  • Manage ArcGIS Server services and optimize server performance
  • Create and publish geoprocessing services to ArcGIS Server
  • Develop custom geoprocessing tools and models using Python and ArcPy
  • Implement automated data processing workflows with ArcPy
  • Administer Portal for ArcGIS including user management and security
  • Configure and maintain ArcGIS Data Store components
  • Design and implement enterprise geodatabase schemas
  • Manage spatial dataworkflows and ETL process
  • Experience with using JavaScript visualization libraries, including D3, Leaflet, and AG Grid
  • Experience with information security
  • Experience with Agile/Kanban developmentmethodologies
  • Knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, Git, and GitHub/GitLab
