As a Layer 7 Engineer, you will...
  • Develop and maintain secure applications using Java and Python within a cleared, multi-discipline team environment, applying Agile and DevSecOps practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Design, implement, and troubleshoot network-facing solutions, leveraging direct experience with Broadcom Layer 7 API and network programming to support secure data routing and system integration.
  • Administer and script Linux-based systems, writing and maintaining shell scripts to automate tasks, deploy containerized applications, and support orchestration (e.g., Docker/Kubernetes) in cloud environments.
  • Implement and support security protocols, including authentication mechanisms, certificate management, and secure routing, while collaborating cross-functionally and communicating technical work clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Layer 7 Engineer Qualifications
  • Security +, Cleared C8
  • Experience in JAVA
  • Good collaboration skills, ability to work in a team environment, good oral and written communication skills, ability to work in a multi-discipline environment.
  • Direct experience with Broadcom Layer 7 API
  • Network programming experience
  • Some basic programming skills
  • Linux script writing
  • Knowledge and experience with authentication, certificates, and other security routing protocols would be a plus.
