This position requires an active U.S. Government Security Clearance at the TS/SCI level with required polygraph. Our team has an immediate need for an experienced Geospatial Data Scientist to join our team at a customer-site in McLean, VA. The candidate will support gathering project requirements from the customer and implementing data-driven solutions. Responsibilities: * Use Python scripting and AWS services to automate geospatial data ingestion, transformation, and analysis
* Apply geospatial data science techniques to identify patterns, trends, and mission-relevant insights
* Create maps, visualizations, and analytic products for technical and non-technical audiences
* Maintain high-quality, repeatable data workflows, ensuring data integrity, documentation, and performance Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with 1+ year of relevant experience
* Strong experience using Python for geospatial data transformation, automation, and analysis
* Strong experience working with geospatial data in thick-client GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS)
* Experience with PostgreSQL/PostGIS, AWS services, and Linux-based environments
* U.S. citizenship and Active TS/SCI with required polygraph
* willingness to work on-site full time Preferred Qualifications: * Experience working with Python notebooks (e.g., Jupyter) for exploratory and reproducible analysis
* Experience integrating and consuming data via REST APIs
* Experience with R, Tableau, or similar analytical and visualization tools
* Experience with Apache NiFi or comparable data workflow/orchestration tools
