Job Summary:
MDAEdge is seeking a motivated and knowledgeable GIS Product Owner to lead the development and enhancement of their Geographic Information System (GIS) products. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring the GIS products deliver value to users and align with company goals.
Responsibilities:
• Define and prioritize the GIS product backlog based on business value and user needs.
• Work closely with stakeholders, developers, and GIS analysts to gather requirements and translate them into actionable features.
• Own the product vision and roadmap, ensuring clear communication across teams.
• Make informed decisions on product features, enhancements, and releases.
• Monitor and evaluate product progress, performance, and feedback.
• Ensure GIS solutions meet regulatory, technical, and user requirements.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in a GIS-related environment.
• Strong understanding of GIS technologies and tools (e.g., Esri ArcGIS, QGIS).
