Job description
- Collect, analyze, validate, and manage geospatial data using GIS, remote sensing, and GPS tools
- Design, build, maintain, and test geospatial databases and enterprise geodatabases
- Perform spatial analysis and GIS processing using ArcGIS and related Esri products
- Develop and maintain automated workflows and scripts using Python and SQL
- Produce maps, web maps, and visualizations to support analysis and decision making
- Integrate geospatial data with other datasets to generate actionable insights
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for GIS users and systems
- Support data automation, migration, and database development efforts
- Coordinate tasks with project and technical managers
- Document processes, results, and customer interactions
- Bachelor’s degree in geography, GIS, geospatial engineering, computer science, or related field (master’s preferred)
- 2+ years of professional experience using GIS technologies
- Knowledge of Windows environments
- Proficiency with Esri products (ArcGIS Desktop, Enterprise, and Online)
