We are looking for Geoscience Applications Support Engineer for our client in Spring TX.

Job Title: Geoscience Applications Support Engineer

Job Location: Spring TX

Job Type: Contract

Job Overview:

Pay Range: $75.88hr - $80.88hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or related field from a recognized university.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in related fields: applications support, application administration, IT operations, or related disciplines.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies, applications, and business processes quickly.
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.
  • Develop familiarity with responsible AI principles, data governance, and model lifecycle concepts.
  • Proactiveness to identify and ability to drive process improvements to completion and long-term implementation.
  • Bonus: Prior Geoscience oil and gas work experience, SharePoint expertise, and basic python coding/dashboarding skills.

Responsibilities:

  • General portfolio management application onboarding, evaluation support, and retirement stewardship.
  • Security & Controls stewardship Risk Assessment assistance, Vulnerability Assessment Test assistance, etc.
  • Registering new AI Use Cases.
  • Ardoq information updates and maintenance assistance.
  • SCA for SharePoint sites.
  • Identify, prioritize, and drive optimization opportunities for team efficiency and effectiveness application groups, software onboarding, software evaluation process, etc.
  • License management Including stewarding upgrade activities, dongle management, etc.
  • Upgrade monitoring application group management, application packaging follow-ups, etc.
  • Stewarding, but not approving, software maintenance and invoice information.
  • Disaster Recovery and Disaster Recovery test planning as needed.
