Job Summary:
Georgia IT, Inc. is seeking a Hadoop Developer to join their team in San Jose, CA. The role involves extracting data from various sources, performing data analysis on large datasets using Hadoop and Spark, and working with Unix systems to support enterprise web applications.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Experience extracting data from a variety of sources, and a desire to expand those skills (working knowledge SQL is required, Spark is a required)
โ€ข Excellent Data Analysis skills. Must be comfortable with querying and analyzing large amount of data on Hadoop HDFS using Hive and Spark.
โ€ข Experience with Object oriented programming using python and its design patterns.
โ€ข Experience handling Unix systems, for optimal usage to host enterprise web applications.
