About the Job

MedStar Health is expanding its cancer service line throughout the Baltimore-Washington, DC region and is hiring an experienced Gynecologic Oncologist to join our MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center facility located in Baltimore, Maryland.

This is an opportunity to join and grow the gynecologic oncology presence at MedStar Health and surrounding Baltimore Communities.

MedStar Georgetown Cancer Institute at Franklin Square has membership in NRG for gynecologic oncology clinical trials and has access to additional cooperative group trials and industry sponsored trials with our affiliation with the Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center at Georgetown University Hospital.

In this role, you will provide consultation and treatment for women with gynecologic malignancies, including uterine, cervical, ovarian, vulvar, and vaginal cancers. You will have access to advanced surgical technology and work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment that supports both clinical excellence and academic involvement. There is opportunity for a clinical appointment with Georgetown University School of Medicine as well as opportunity to teach Georgetown Medical Students. 

 Qualifications:

  • MD or DO degree
  • Fellowship training in Gynecologic Oncology
  • Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Gynecologic Oncology
  • Eligibility for an unrestricted medical license (jurisdiction to be determined based on final site location)
