Job description

Amentum is seeking an Entry Level Counterintelligence Program Specialist to support our U.S. Department of Energy and Counterintelligence (DOE-IN) contract. Positions will be based in the Washington, D.C area.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research, data collection, and basic analysis to support the CI program in general and specific project deliverables as directed.
  • Draft reports, presentations and documentation for internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborate with HQ and field elements to solve problems and contribute to project objectives.
  • Assemble and coordinate data in response to internal and external reporting requirements.
  • Apply foundational knowledge to support process improvements, innovation, and efficiency.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Active Top Secret
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college is required, with a preferred focus on degrees relevant to geopolitics, national security studies, or a relevant technical field
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience supporting a national security related program (e.g. the NNSA Graduate Fellowship Program) or agency. Individual must have demonstrated evidence of excellent oral and written communication skills. Knowledge and demonstrated experience conducting research and analysis using common technical tools and databases is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree is preferred.

Compensation Details:

$80,000-$90,000
