    Job Description:

    L3Harris is seeking a Principal, Strategy Development to help shape and accelerate growth across the Airborne Solutions Sector (ASL) in Palm Bay, FL. In this high-impact role, you will support strategic planning, deliver market and competitive insights, and help guide decisions that position the Sector for long-term success. Working across product lines and business functions, you will influence strategy from early concept through execution, helping turn ideas into opportunities and opportunities into growth.

    Essential Duties:

    • Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify emerging trends, potential growth areas, and competitive threats within the warfighting domains.
    • Conduct research and analysis on relevant markets to develop high-quality strategic work products and actionable insights. Monitor the market landscape and its implications on civil, commercial, and national security spending and priorities.
    • Analyze competitor landscapes, capabilities, and positioning to inform strategic planning and business decisions and make necessary work products as needed.
    • Develop strategies aligned with Sector objectives and tailored to specific pursuits, functions, and product lines.
    • Monitor and assess geopolitical developments, government actions, and external market forces to forecast potential impacts on the ASL Sector.
    • Build scenario-based analyses to support business decision-making, including evaluating potential outcomes and recommended response options
    • Work closely with key stakeholders to create compelling executive-level presentations
    • Create polished reporting for senior leader presentations and decision-making
    • Up to 25% depending on work location

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experience.
    • Active Secret Clearance

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • 3+ years of research and analysis experience
    • Ability to obtain TS Clearance
    • Working knowledge of defense, aerospace, and adjacent markets
    • Experience in data analytics and modeling, industry and market analysis, partnership research
    • Knowledge of corporate finance a plus

    In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New York state is $115,500 - $214,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and company-paid holidays.
