A Day in the Life
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist survey crews with field data collection, layout, and site measurements
- Support the use of survey equipment such as total stations, GPS/GNSS, and data collectors
- Assist with drafting and data processing using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar software
- Prepare and organize survey data, field notes, and drawings
- Support office-based tasks related to surveying and geomatics projects
- Work collaboratively with surveyors, engineers, and project teams
- Follow safety procedures and site-specific requirements at all times
- Learn industry best practices while contributing to real-world projects
What You’ll Bring to the Team
- Currently enrolled in a Geomatics, Surveying, Civil Engineering Technology, or related program
- Interest in surveying, geomatics, and drafting work
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar drafting software is an asset
