An overview ofyour future role at BBA

TheBBA team is looking for a geomatics professional with a background in thematicmapping. You'llwork with BBA's Environment and Engineering teams on a variety of projects inthe energy, mining and industrial sectors. You'll have the opportunity to joina growing, dynamic team focused on client service quality.

Anoverview of your mandates and responsibilities

  •  Carry out various thematic mapping projects
  • Carry out interactive mapping projects and upload geospatial data
  • Perform spatial analyses based on requests to extract various data
  • Manage and update SIG databases
  • Process 3D and matrix data
  • Perform product quality control
  • Create interactive maps (ArcGIS Online)
  •  Process 3D data (LiDAR) datasets
  • Provide technical support, serving as a resource to project teams, and respond to internal and external requests for information
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary project teams (environmental specialists and engineers) and with various BBA offices across Canada
  • When necessary, assist field teams with technical surveys and georeferencing work
  • Participate in development and improvement projects within the team of geomatics professionals
