Title: GIS Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled GIS Developer with expertise in ESRI ArcGIS technologies to design and deliver geospatial solutions, including provider mapping applications (static and interactive). The role requires strong technical, analytical, and collaboration skills to support enterprise GIS initiatives and deliver high-quality mapping solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Design, develop, and maintain GIS applications using the ESRI ArcGIS platform (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online).

·        Create maps (static and interactive) using ArcGIS tools and web mapping technologies.

·        Develop custom GIS solutions using Python (ArcPy) and SQL for data processing and automation.

·        Build and deploy interactive web GIS applications using ArcGIS API for JavaScript / Experience Builder.

·        Perform spatial analysis, geoprocessing, and data visualization to support business use cases.

·        Publish, manage, and maintain GIS services (map services, feature services).

·        Collaborate with business users, stakeholders, and management to define project goals, timelines, and deliverables.

·        Ensure timely completion of critical project tasks while meeting deadlines.

·        Create technical documentation and provide clear verbal and written explanations of complex GIS processes.

·        Maintain data quality, integrity, and adherence to GIS standards.

·        Troubleshoot system issues and optimize performance of GIS applications.

Required Qualifications:

·        Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in: Geography / GIS / Geomatics, Computer Science / Engineering or a related field.

·        Strong experience with ESRI ArcGIS suite: ArcGIS Desktop / ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise / ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Online

• Hands-on experience in creating provider maps (static and interactive).

• Proficiency in: Python (ArcPy), SQL (for spatial and relational data handling)

• Experience with web GIS development (ArcGIS API for JavaScript / Experience Builder).

• Working knowledge of geospatial data formats and spatial databases.

• Experience with GIS web services and REST APIs.

 

Preferred Skills:

·        ESRI Developer Certifications (highly desirable).
