As a Construction Administrator, you'll play a critical role in supporting the successful delivery of public infrastructure projects by managing bid documents, coordinating funding compliance requirements, and ensuring construction contracts move seamlessly from planning to execution. Working alongside engineers, project managers, contractors, and funding agencies, you'll help keep projects organized, compliant, and on schedule while contributing to improvements that positively impact communities. What You'll Do:

Manage and maintain the company's online Plan Room and bid document repository.

Upload plans, specifications, addenda, bid tabulations, and related project documents using FTP software.

Coordinate with project engineers to update Project Bid Information forms with project details.

Assist project engineers in selecting bid items, specifications, and detail drawings.

Help project engineers with bid/contract execution schedules.

Assemble the base bid/contract book, including the table of contents, instructions to bidders, contract forms, supplemental conditions, standard contract requirements, and special funding forms.

Assist with clerical aspects of addendum preparation and dissemination during the bidding period.

Review the draft contract book for consistency with the bid item database or ODOT items.

Coordinate Loan/Grant Applications for OWDA, OPWC, and other agencies.

Review funding agreements associated with infrastructure contracts to identify deadlines and compliance requirements.

Communicate and coordinate compliance deadlines with relevant parties.

Process pay requests and change orders through various agencies including but not limited to OEPA/DEFA, OWDA, OPWC, ARC, and CDGB

What You Bring:

Associate or bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, Engineering Technology, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field preferred; equivalent construction industry experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

2+ years of experience with public construction bidding processes, including advertisements for bids, plans and specifications, addenda, bid document distribution, and contractor procurement procedures.

Experience administering online document repositories, plan rooms, or similar construction-related platforms.

Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.

Strong understanding of electronic document management and file organization.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications.

Salary Range:

The starting salary range for this position is $65,000. Actual compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
