Dynamic Earth is seeing a highly skilled and experienced Environmental Professional – Senior Project Manager to join our Delray Beach office.  The candidate is responsible for project management, leadership, profitability, client management and business development/sales.  Daily activities include coordination and oversight of field operations, preparation of technical reports and regulatory compliance, technical research, technical proposal preparation, project budgeting and profitability, staff supervision and mentoring,  and project scheduling. 

The Senior Project Manager will maintain presence and leadership throughout the regions where we do business through involvement in civic, professional and business organizations.  Business development is also a major component of the Senior Project Manager role.


  • Senior Project Management in the areas of due diligence, site remediation, regulatory compliance and permitting
  • Business development, market our services, maintain and further development of client database
  • Conduct Phase I & II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) to identify potential environmental liabilities
  • Manage team assignments and balance workload in a deadline driven environment
  • Quality Control
  • Permitting of federal, state and local regulatory agencies
  • Hands-on field supervision and subcontractor coordination
  • Prepare technical proposals and cost estimates
  • Financial management of projects including accounts receivable
  • Budgeting and scheduling of projects
  • Client management
  • Mentor and develop staff
  • Strong writing, verbal and computer skills
  • Professional networking and marketing skills required
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Environmental Engineering or similar
  • 10 to 15 years of experience in Site Remediation (due diligence, site and remedial investigation, remediation design and implementation, regulatory compliance and permitting experience)
  • Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Geologist (PG) required
  • Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) is a plus
  • 40-Hour HAZWOPER training
  • Valid Driver's license

  • Demonstrates success in managing projects under FDEP Petroleum Restoration Program
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office, Excell, Word and Bluebeam
  • Strong field experience and knowledge
  • Remediation design and implementation services (i.e. VIMS, In-Situ, Ex-Situ, Excavation)
  • Soil characterization and waste management
  • Experience dealing with regulatory agencies and review professionals
  • Experience with Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP)
  • Experience with Southern Florida regulatory agencies (i.e. DERM)
  • Proficient in the use of available websites for due diligence and site investigation purposes
  • Construction oversight experience for site work
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Independent and critical thinking abilities
  • Superior organizational and delegation ability
  • Ability to work and lead in a team-oriented environment with a focus on staff development and mentoring
