Position Description:
We are seeking a motivated Junior Software Developer to support geolocation and data integration initiatives within a data engineering and analytics environment. In this role, you will work closely with technical stakeholders to design, develop, and deploy applications that enable data processing, automation, and metadata analysis across multiple enterprise data sources.
You will contribute to the development of analytics solutions that integrate and process data from diverse systems, supporting discovery, transformation, and enrichment of large-scale datasets.
Responsibilities
  • Develop applications and analytics tools supporting data integration and geolocation capabilities
  • Work with structured and unstructured data from multiple sources, including cyber-related datasets
  • Support data tagging, transformation, and enrichment workflows
  • Assist in building automation solutions for data and metadata analysis
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions
  • Contribute to integration of analytics capabilities into existing customer-supported tools

Required Skills
  • Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages, including Java and Python
  • Experience with big data and distributed processing frameworks, including PySpark, ETL pipelines, Pig, MapReduce, JSON, BSON, and Hadoop

Nice to Have
  • Familiarity with enterprise data systems, internal tooling, or data repositories
  • Experience working with large-scale structured and unstructured datasets
  • Exposure to data analytics or geospatial processing concepts

Requirements:
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Must hold an active clearance with a Polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field

  • This position involves sedentary work with physical requirements expected for at least 50% of the time. Essential functions include prolonged periods of sitting, standing, walking, and talking.
